You can see in this photo from one of my clients that a family room can afford to let loose a bit of color. The large-scale, colorful portrait of Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke shakes up the standard look of a family room by incorporating a show stopping painting. I think the owner of the home might be a financial adviser and wanted an image that was in keeping with his business interest.
