You are faced with the same issues I have when painting a portrait. With good taste and education, I’m sure you do not have your work look as if parts have come together by chance - but have a fundamental relationship between them. As an artist once said about painting portrait commissions, "There is always something wrong with the nose." That was said because the sitter has a certain expectation on how they should look and invariably feel the artist did not represent them fairly. And invariably there is something wrong with the eyes, nose, mouth, etc. With me, they don’t purchase the work. With you they just change it after you leave. "Musician" 50" x 70"
